Melanie Jones is a 37-year public safety veteran and began working full time for Guilford County 911 in 1999. She has been a Telecommunicator, Certified Training Officer, Asst. Shift Supervisor, Senior Shift Supervisor, and 911 Operations Manager. Currently, she serves as Executive Director of Guilford Metro 911, one of the largest consolidated centers in the State of North Carolina. Melanie served as President for the National Emergency Number Association in 2024-2025.

John Geib is Director of Emergency Communications for Bucks County, PA. His career began in 1995 as a telecommunicator in Montgomery County, PA, where he served as shift supervisor, Assistant Director for Professional Standards, and 911 Director. His expertise spans operational excellence, CALEA accreditation, and Next Generation 911 implementation. As a consultant with Mission Critical Partners, John specialized in data-driven approaches and regional collaboration to strengthen emergency communication systems – from local to statewide. In 2024, he was accepted into a cohort that focuses on the developing a high-performance culture in the public safety community.

Jeremy Serio is Police Communications Shift Administrator at Anne Arundel County Police Department. He started as Police Dispatcher with Anne Arundel County Police Communications in 2007 and has held leadership roles since 2013. He founded the Tactical Dispatch Unit for Anne Arundel County Police Department, and co-chairs the Technology Subcommittee of the Maryland 911 Board. Through StalwartSolutions LLC, he delivers keynotes, workshops, and leadership programs built for 911 leaders.

Joe Serio is co-author of Dispatch Culture: 50 Lessons on Inspiring Excellence, Dispatch Supervisor: 50 Lessons on Being a Great Leader, and Dispatcher Stress: 50 Lessons on Beating the Burnout. He is the founder and host of 911 Leadership Training Event, 911 Mental Health Workshop, and Transforming 911 Culture Workshop, all of which are held at the Mayan Ranch in Bandera, TX. He is also the founder and host of the six-month 911 Supervisor Leadership Academy. He has been working with 911 dispatchers for 15 years.
