Mary is a graduate of Western Michigan University where she earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Political Science. She also earned her Juris Doctorate degree at Valparaiso University School of Law. She practiced law for approximately fifteen years—mainly as a deputy prosecuting attorney—until she took the bench as a magistrate and then a judge. As the Porter Circuit Court Judge in Valparaiso, Indiana, Mary presides over high level felony and civil cases in adult court and she oversees the entire juvenile justice system in Porter County, which includes its juvenile detention center, probation department and juvenile court.

Tanya is a behavioral scientist and executive health coach. She is the president of Cultivated Insights, a learning and development company and coaching practice for global corporations, SMBs, and other organizations. Tanya is a senior contributor with Forbes, where she covers workplace wellbeing, burnout recovery, negotiation technique and equal pay. Tanya has interviewed more than 200 CEOs, executives and women leaders making a positive impact in their industries. Previous to corporate work, Tanya studied burnout in the field with families of deployed soldiers and Texas public school educators. And in her free time, she's a Muay Thai student and referee.

Charles, a career officer in the United States Marine Corps and 14th Director of the Institute of Heraldry, earned an MBA degree in Quantitative Analysis from St. John’s University in New York City, and an MS degree in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces in Washington, DC. Mr. Mugno served in various stateside and overseas assignments with multiple deployments. As a Colonel he served in the Office of the Secretary of Defense as a Senior Defense Analyst and later as the Commanding Officer, Marine Corps Base Albany, Georgia. Mr. Mugno has studied the history and development of military insignia for over 25 years.

Mike is a nationally recognized expert in ethics, integrity, organizational and leadership development, and coaching, with over 41 years of experience in law enforcement. He provides training and consultation nationwide and has served as chief of police and city manager in various municipalities. Mike holds a BA in Criminal Justice and an MA in Organizational Development and Leadership. He graduated from the Professional Christian Coaching Institute and is involved in professional organizations as an Executive Board Member of TMLIRP and a Board Member of the International Narrative Tradition.

Joe Serio, Ph.D., is a popular and entertaining trainer and conference keynote speaker on leadership and change, time management and organizational skills, strategies for effective communication, and overcoming barriers to improved performance. He is the author of books on fear and resistance, emotional intelligence, time management, and public speaking, among others. Dr. Serio holds a Ph.D. in criminal justice with a specialization in leadership and organizational behavior. Dr. Serio has delivered more than 1000 training classes and conference presentations across the country to a wide variety of government employees, including city council members, mayors, city managers, human resources directors, public information officers, public safety officers, and many others.
