Columbine student still changing the world

Rachel Scott was the first student shot and killed at Columbine High School in 1999. This is what she wanted: kindness and compassion.

Through her writings and her actions, she taught us that thoughts and words alone are not enough; we must act our kindness and compassion. Kindness and compassion without action is pointless.

Rachel went out of her way to befriend fellow students who were bullied, shunned, and cast aside. That’s kindness and compassion in action.

What is it you can do today, and every day, that puts kindness and compassion into action?

Go to Rachel’s Challenge to learn more about this truly amazing person who has changed the world.

The road traveled

No, you can’t have it all.

When you choose a road, you say no to all of the other possibilities as they exist at that moment.

If you choose to work longer, you choose to spend less time with your family. If you choose to sit in front of the television or computer screen, you choose not to exercise.

What is that thing you MOST want at this moment? Are you willing to pay the cost of going for it? Are you willing to forego other things? Are you willing to “miss out” on things in order to follow your path?

It’s all about results

What results are you getting?Hand writing New Mindset New Results with black marker on transparent wipe board.

You might ask, “At what?” It doesn’t matter. Your relationships, your career, your weight, your communication, your life.

You can tell a lot by your results. If you’re not getting the results you want, it may be time to change what you’re doing.

It may be time to stop complaining, criticizing, gossiping, and blaming others for your life.

Are you getting the results you want in order to have the life you want? Yes or no?

If the answer is no, it’s time to do something else.

In order to have something you’ve never had, you have to do something you’ve never done.
